Computerized Music News have had a decent week for made up stories circling the web. A week ago we discovered that iTunes was shutting in 2 years from DMN's "mysterious sources" and now more anonymous sources are proposing through DMN that SoundCloud are evacuating the soul of their administration.
DJ Mixes are an enormous piece of SoundCloud and it has been a stage for up and coming makers and DJs the world over to become well known. Expelling DJ Mixes would be shocking, and that is presumably why DMN made these false claims – drama = consideration. SoundCloud affirmed to Billboard that "the story has no truth to it. At SoundCloud, we're determined to make a spot where all innovativeness can live. SoundCloud's maker group, including DJs, is unimaginably critical to us."
In the wake of their new membership administration SoundCloud Go dispatching and bargains marked with real names it wouldn't bode well for SoundCloud to start limiting their administration. So until one week from now when DMN have the 'breaking news' from 'unknown sources' that Spotify are being purchased out by Apple Music, or something likewise spurious, you can breathe a sigh of relief that a staple music administration isn't radically evolving.
